Emirates Airline has launched a sale for travel between New York and Milan – even though it may seem strange for Emirates to fly between New York and Italy, since they’re based in Dubai, the flight does continue on from Milan to Dubai…but this is a fantastic opportunity to score a great deal just on the flights to Milan.  The Mrs. Guru and I were just in Milan a few weeks ago on our way back from Greece, so stay tuned for more details on that trip.

The one catch with this sale is that it is specifically targeted to passengers traveling as a pair.  If you search for 2 passengers, you can find fares as low as $499 per person (searching for a single passenger, the lowest fares are around $675).  The lowest fares are available starting mid-September through the end of November.  Here’s a sample itinerary I found for traveling October 8-14:

The total comes to $996.40, which averages out to $498.20 per person – a pretty stellar deal for flights to Milan.  You can book this directly at the Emirates website.  So if you’ve been considering a European getaway this fall, don’t miss out on this deal!
